Reflection for Karthik Maya Krisenan
The fact that fascinated me about sugar gilders was
their ability to fly over a distance approximately 54 feet without any wings. This
is do-able with its anatomy of its body which resembles an aero foil. The aero
foil like figure can be achieved by stretching its limbs and ankles creating a
sheet that float in the air. This also can be known as the Patagium. The patagium
can be retracted as the glider reached its desired destination. This phenomenon
can be mimicked to create a jump suit for the army, adventure seekers etc. The
expanded area can produce a significant amount of lift force to aid the
individuals to float in the air thus creating an easy maneuvering in flight. As
many ventures have created a wing suits that resembles this idea, it is not patent-able.
Notably, companies such as Tony Suits, Phoenix Fly Suits have created working
suits that flies exactly as the sugar glider.
When conducting a project in a team, it can be easily
carried out with liberating several tasks to each of the members. With this,
the project can be easily finished and several conflicts can be solved as each
of the members do have their own personal opinions on how the project should be
done. The leader should be able to designate the members’ respective tasks
without creating any conflict between the members. To perform the designation
process, the leader called all the members for a meeting to have a brainstorm.
Nevertheless, I would say that I am proud and happy at the same time as our group
efficiently attended our meetings despite having their respective work.
Finally, each member of my group co-operated with each other while performing
the task without any conflicts.
