Reflection for Muhammad Affiq

This research project about sugar glider has made me think deeper into nature especially living things.  Sugar glider is a fancy animal and tends to be made as companion and little did we know that it has features that inspired engineer to harness the features into their design. The ability of sugar glider to leap far distances is their most special features. They also as the ability to land on rough surfaces without causing any injuries to themselves. This animal requires a good care from their owners as they can be very lonely which can cause them to ill. This research about bio-mimicry has spark an interest in me to further seek features of the nature and applied it in modern technology. This will make the technology sustainable environmentally. Every animal has their own special features to help them survives. The common bio-mimicry of sugar glider is jump suit as it allow the user to glide efficiently with more control. This research also expand my knowledge of the importance to preserve nature as nature will evolves to suit their needs to survives. Future engineering challenges may be resolves with tools inspired by the nature.
