Reflection for Melvin Mok Poh Chuen
When working on this blog, I have the chance to closely
observe how a sugar glider lives, what amaze me the most is definitely their
ability to glide. With its small size and light weight, they are capable of
gliding from trees to trees in the forest. Other than their light weight and
small build, sugar glider have a thin layer than connect their wrists to their
ankles, this thin layer call patagium is the main reason that sugar glider are
capable to glide so effortlessly. The patagium of the sugar glider is what
inspired us to design our wing suit. This design of wing suit can be used in
extreme sports and with proper safety measurements it can also be develop into
attractive tourist activities in Malaysia as Malaysia doesn’t lack high hills
and mountain which can be utilize to give tourist an exciting view and unforgettable
memory. Although this idea is quite unique and capable to attract many customer
attention, much more work need to be put into the design of the wing suit as
the product is quite similar to some other product available in the market such
as hang gliding and squirrel wing suit. Other than that, the safety of the
design also needs more improvement.
Throughout the process of this project, I am very grateful
to have bunch of Helpful and Reliable teammates. For my opinion, I think
working as a group definitely gives better productivity, though sometimes
conflicts might occur during discussion and meeting. Other than that, the tasks
for the whole blog creation are equally spilt into several groups to ensure
efficiency of the work. Overall, I think our group manage to work fine in term
of cooperation and work efficiency. Special THANKS to our LEADER for his ‘SELFLESS’
contribution and ‘RELIABLE’ leadership.
